I'm a native New Yorker (Bronx) living life in the Magic City of Birmingham, Alabama. I also happen to be someone who loves to take pictures. I work in a great city doing my part to bring back the older commercial districts. This is my home for images that I want to share with everyone. I hope you find something you enjoy. It's also a great way to let some of my friends outside of Birmingham know what I'm doing.

08292006 Happy Hour for a Cause - a fundraiser for Katrina : Instead of having a birthday party, I decided to organize a fundraiser on short notice to assist efforts taken on by City Action Partnership, or CAP, an agency located in downtown Birmingham. To learn more about their efforts to assist people still suffering from the effects of Katrina one year later, visit their webiste, http://www.capisdowntown.com, and click on the Hurricane Relief heading in the sidebar. We were able to raise more than $200 and collect several bags of medical supplies and other needed items. The money will go to help offset the cost of delivering the supplies to the Gulf Coast.

The studio is responsible for creating a sound that is synonymous with Central Alabama. 07162006 Sunflower Harvest Block Party : This event was held on July 15, 2006 & organized by Jones Valley Urban Farm as a way to publicize the existence of the organization's newest urban park, the Gardens at Park Place. Activities included hay rides, u-pick sunflowers, music and food courtesy of Jim N' Nick BBQ. More events will occur at the Gardens, with an immediate benefit to users of Marconi Park and the new YMCA Youth Center. Residents of Park Place will also benefit from its close proximity.

Studio by the Tracks "American Idol" Finale Party, 5.24.2006 : Images from the Studio by the Tracks after party celebrating Taylor Hicks' victory on American Idol. His band, the Little Memphis Blues Orchestra, performed during the event,which served as a fund raiser for the Studio.

Catalyst GET IN GEAR event @ Sloss Docks, 5.23.2006 : The first Catalyst event of 2006 was held at the future site of the Alabama Folk Art Museum, scheduled to open in time for the Alabama Year of Art in 2007. More than 200 people attended the event where they were invited to join the 2-year old organization and get involved in one of their pillar groups.
