This event was held on July 15, 2006 & organized by Jones Valley Urban Farm as a way to publicize the existence of the organization's newest urban park, the Gardens at Park Place. Activities included hay rides, u-pick sunflowers, music and food courtesy of Jim N' Nick BBQ. More events will occur at the Gardens, with an immediate benefit to users of Marconi Park and the new YMCA Youth Center. Residents of Park Place will also benefit from its close proximity.
